Arabica and Robusta in a nutshell

Almost all espresso blends combine two coffee species. Arabica is more aromatic and delicate, with sweet, floral notes and a light acidity. Robusta brings body, crema and character, and contains more caffeine. The ratio between the two shapes the blend: more Robusta means a stronger, creamier coffee; more Arabica a softer, more fragrant one.

The four blends

Nera – intense and bold

The strongest of the range, with the highest share of Robusta: full body, dense crema and a long finish, with cocoa notes. It’s made for those who want the character of a Neapolitan café in their cup.

Arancio – full-bodied and aromatic

The classic taste of Neapolitan coffee: full-bodied and bold, but with a lively, aromatic profile and a clean sweetness. It’s the everyday blend for those who want a rich coffee without going over the top.

Blu (extrabar) – balanced and creamy

Our most popular blend. Body and creaminess meet in a round, smooth coffee with hazelnut notes: the “just like at the bar” taste that pleases everyone. If you have to pick one blend for the family or the office, pick this one.

Available as pods, as capsules compatible with Nespresso, A Modo Mio, Dolce Gusto and Bialetti, and as 1 kg beans.

Oro – fine and velvety

Our finest blend, with the highest share of Arabica in the range: a delicate, velvety coffee with floral notes and a lingering finish. “Delicate emotions for refined palates”.
